Sintered aluminum acoustic cladding panel. This cladding panel exhibits ultra-high sound absorption characteristics. It is corrosion-, weather-, and thermal resistant; is lightweight, has excellent workability, is fire rated, and is 100% recyclable. The sheet is made of sintered aluminum powder and is available in two types: A-type (for indoor use) and C-type (anti-corrosion for outdoor use or for indoor swimming pool areas). It is available in five surface textures: smooth, corrugated, embossed, stucco, or ridged. The standard color is ‘silver gray’, but any color is available as a custom order. The panels can also be painted. Sheet sizes are 600 x 600 mm (23.6 x 23.6 in) and 600 x 1200 mm (23.6 x 47 in), with thicknesses of 2 mm (0.08 in) or 3 mm (0.12 in). Applications are for acoustic insulation on walls and ceilings in concert halls, atriums, gyms and indoor pools.

Acrylics & Resin Art

Veritas Resin-art panels, are made of 40% pre-consumer recycled engineered polyester resin. The translucent panels can replace opaque materials to maximize the reach of daylight while diffusing it to reduce glare. The panels are 48″ wide and 96″ or 120″ long, and come in thicknesses from 1/16″ to 1/2″, though not all options are available in all thicknesses. Resin-art panels come in a wide range of patterns and colors with six finish options, and use low-VOC adhesives and sealants.

Lisa® color is created by BWF utilizing the Bayer, A.G. dyes in combination with the various acrylic components traditionally used by BWF in its acrylic extrusion process. The principal acrylic used for the standard range of Lisa® stock items is PMMA acrylic, for high-impact resistance. Available on special request is the PC (polycarbonate) acrylic version, ideal for use in public areas where smoke, toxicity or other physical requirements necessitate the use of polycarbonate acrylics.

These special dyes have the unique property of collecting UV light, changing wavelength, then emitting light. When exposed to virtually any amount of UV, they begin “glowing.” This effect achieves its zenith when the Lisa® profiles are exposed to “blacklight” (see information on Illumination).
